Introducing Magenta...
Magenta is a very pretty and feminine daughter from the last litter of our darling foundation bitch Flame (Aust Ch Eilsta Qwyt Kutani).
A very cheeky little lady, she is fun-loving, playful and affectionate, enjoying nothing more than to snuggle up to you on the couch - or stealing washing out of the laundry basket!
And when you try to get her to do something she doesn't want to do, she'll roll on her back, wag her tail like mad, and play "patty-cake" with her front paws. It is so cute.

Puppies
Magenta has had two litters of puppies for us in 2006 and 2008. To learn more about these litters, please click on the links below:
Show Record...
Never the keenest showgirl, Magenta had some wonderful results at a time when competition in the breed was especially strong in South Australia. A Multiple Best in Group and Class in Group winner, Magenta was particularly successful at Basenji Specialty Shows where she has been an Opposite Class in Show winner and has received many class placements.
Awards Magenta has won include:
2003/04 Spitz Breeds Club of South Australia "Spitz Puppy of the Year"
4th Place - 2004 South Australian Canine Association Open Show Dog of the Year: Hound Group
Magenta is now semi-retired from the show ring, only coming out now for selected Specialty Shows.
Critiques...
"Feminine bitch, pleasing head, long neck, level topline. Was feeling the cold a bit so did not give of her best & movement was a bit narrow. Very dainty and of good size."
Mr Glen Dymock (United Kingdom/Australia, Afrika Kennels)
Basenji Club of Victoria In Championship Show - 25 March 2007 3rd Place - Australian Bred Bitch Class
