A
beautifully elegant, refined and athletic girl, Tina has made a wonderful start to
her career, and is a Specialty Best in Show winner and Multiple Best in Group and Class in Show winner.
Tina has had some excellent results at Basenji Specialty Shows, In addition to her 2007 Victorian Specialty win, she was 2nd in the Intermediate Bitch Class at the 2006 Victorian Specialty and 4th in a class of 18 Baby Bitches at the 2004 New South Wales Specialty.
As she is maturing, Tina is really blossoming into a beautifully feminine and elegant bitch who is a effortless mover, very much in the mould of her grandmother Aus Ch Eilsta Qwyt Kutani. She also gives wonderful expression to the judges, when on the stack or on the examination table.
But what thrills us more than anything, is the way Tina loves going to shows and showing off. She loves meeting all of the judges, and struts around the ring with great poise, style and elegance.
After her Best in Show win in Melbourne, we are going to give her a bit of a break from the Show Ring and let her just be our beautiful girl.
We think she has earned it!

Tina creates breed history by becoming the first basenji to win the Spitz
Breeds Club of South Australia "Spitz of the Year" award.

"Beautiful bitch of outstanding type, lovely size & quality, classic head
& expression, lovely chiselling around the eyes, small hooded ears right on top
of head, dark eyes with inscrutable expression, correct fine wrinkle, long neck,
level topline, deep chest, lovely rich red colour, covered the ground well, in
tip top form. When breed type, size & quality come together like this, it is
impossible to resist. Obviously!"
