2004/2005 Spitz Breeds Club of South Australia
"Spitz Puppy of the Year"
Ryan
is maturing beautifully and is starting to make his presence felt in the Show
Ring. He is now regularly winning Reserve Challenges and Runner-up Best of Breed
awards over strong competition,
including our own superstar Jason.
A beautiful moving individual with excellent reach and drive, Ryan is so
light on his feet you can hardly feel him on the end of the lead. And the poise he
displays is just something else. He regularly does well in gait classes at Breed
Specialty Shows.
Now a multiple Runner-up in Group winner, we are very happy with the way Ryan
is coming along - especially as he does not have the flashy white markings that
many of his competitors have. By the age of 12 months, he was already
starting to regularly defeat Grand Champions in the Challenge line-ups.
He still has a little more maturing to do, so we can't wait to
see how he will go when he reaches his prime.
Needless to say we are very proud of this handsome and elegant youngster!

over much older competition including Best in Group and All Breeds and Specialty
Best in Show winners.
Judges' Critiques...
"Very typey dog, lovely head and expression, good
wrinkle, used his ears well, long neck, good forehand. Hind movement could have
more width. Fine bone, stepped out well." Mr Glen Dymock (United Kingdom/Australia, Afrika)
Basenji Club of Victoria Inc Championship Show - 25th March, 2007 2nd Place - Intermediate Dog Class
"Red and white of super type
with a classical head, eye and expression, strong neck with an overall refined,
but nonetheless masculine, appearance. His front assembly could be improved upon
but he moved with great style and freedom to win the class" Dr Ron James (United Kingdom)
