On Tuesday 2nd May
2000, Aus Ch Eilsta Qwyt Kutani produced 2 red and white
boys and 2 red and white girls to our own Aus Grand Ch Baagna Virst
Legend.
We had two different styles of puppies produced by this litter, two (one dog and one bitch) taking after Jason's father's side of the family, the other two taking more after "Baagna" side of the family. But one thing they all had in common was beautiful breed type, and wonderful outgoing temperaments.
As two of the grandparents have the word Racy in their show names, we wanted a "racing" theme for their registered names. Thus we selected the word Lotus for their middle name. Lotus is the name of a successful sports and exotic car manufacturer that also used to compete in Formula 1 from the 1960's to the 1990's. The girls were named after two of the range of Lotus sports cars, whilst the boys were named after two of the race series that the Lotus Racing Team used to compete in during the 1960's.

A wonderfully sound individual, Taz is a very laid-back boy who takes everything life throws at him in his stride. Bright and outgoing, he loves everyone and takes all new experiences in his stride. And at home he loves to have cuddles with his human friends, and play rough-house with his half-sisters Debbie and Magenta or his mother Flame.
He has been a consistent performer through out he show career, being a Best in Group winner as well as a multiple Specialty Class in Show winner.
Now de-sexed, Taz lives in a loving pet home, with another of our former tribe members Suzi (aka Eilsta Undaunted Passion).

Ch Mzalia Lotus Indy (Indy)

Indy is a very handsome and elegant boy, owned by Rebecca Ip. He has the most stunning red and white coat, excellent topline, good shelf and good eye shape. Indy is a very easy going boy, and takes everything in his stride - and just adores cuddles with his "mum".
Indy was shown for about 12 months, and had some excellent results during his time in the ring.

Lotus Esprit (Esprit/Essi/Essukka)

An elegant and "typey" girl, Esprit certainly lives up to her name, as she really is a "free spirit".
A tom-boy at heart, whilst she lived with us, Esprit loved nothing more than to rough-house with her litter brother Taz, and her older half brother Ranger. She was showing a lot of show ring potential, but unfortunately she lost top inch from one her ears at 9 months of age, which necessitated her retirement from showing.
Now desexed, Esprite lives with her nephew Sampo (Mzalia Caught in a Trap), and is the spoiled and much loved companion of Helena and Petri.
She initially lived in Victoria, but in July 2005 the family returned to their native Finland. This move makes Esprit (and Sampo) the first Mzalia's to make their way overseas.

Lotus Elise (Elise)

An elegant girl with beautiful fine wrinkle, Elise is a real little lady who loves cuddles. There is however a touch of devil about her. Wherever there was trouble a-foot, you would usually find Elise.
A very pretty and feminine girl, we retired Elise from the show ring at 8 months, as she was not developing in the way we had hoped.
Elise now lives in a loving pet home.
