A Little About
Brooke...
Say hello to Brooke - a cute red and white bitch from the first litter of Dee Wheatley's Katimbari Basenjis.
Brooke was a very special girl to us, as she came from the first "full Mzalia" mating: her father is our handsome goof-ball Roy (Aus Ch Mzalia Casino Royale), and her mother is the Multiple Best in Show winner Ishtar (Aus Ch Mzalia Hidden Valley) . She has some wonderful show dogs and producers up close in her pedigree, and goes back to the old South Australian lines from our first basenji (Aus Ch Kambi Ndoto Mlia) .
A
cute and sassy girl with a sparling personality and a real cheeky streak, Brooke
has her father's delightfully playful nature, and her mother's (and grandfather
Jason's) attitude. "I am here", she says - and you just cannot ignore
her!
Brooke has a very pretty, feminine head with beautiful fine wrinkle and excellent pigmentation, super-fine coat and skin, an excellent topline and tailset and good compact feet.
She had her own fan club around the Adelaide Show scene - everyone falling for Brooke's happy, outgoing look on life. She was also used regularly to help "retrain" youngsters who had been frightened other dogs.
Unfortunately, Brooke did not grow to the size required by the standard, so we had to make the difficult decision to place her in a loving pet home here in Adelaide.
